Lake Norman Water Levels

Lake Norman water levels have recently gotten very low. It is always important to be safe on the lake, but especially right now. With water levels being more than 4 feet below normal, there are many hazards that are present on the lake. Several boatings ramps are shut down due to Lake Norman’s water levels which makesgetting your boat into the water difficult. Watch out for the rocks, tree stumps, and shoals between islands and land. Please watch out for your safety and your boat with the low water levels of Lake Norman.Be sure to use your depthfinder and to always pay attention to the hazard signs when you are on the lake! As the boating season draws to an end, keep a watch out for the hazards but don’t forget to enjoyall that the beautiful Lake Norman has to offer!
