Publix is coming to Denver!

Set to open in late 2017 in The Village at Sherills Ford, this will be Publix 15th store in the Charlotte area.  The 49,000 square foot grocery store will employ approximately 140 people from the area.  The Village will also be home to many other retail shops as well as single family homes, townhomes and apartments.  The 206 acre community sits on the shoreline of Lake Norman.

Chick-fil-A makes Denver home!

Most have been wondering when the famous ‘Eat More Chicken’ cows would make it to Denver.  Earlier this month it finally happened and Chick-fil-A opened its doors to chicken biscuit lovers everywhere.  Nestled on Highway 73 you can access Chick-fil-A on either side through Walgreens or QucikTrip.

Good things come in smaller packages!

While larger businesses are making Denver home, you will also find shops that are off the beaten path and unique.  Willow and Co. incorporates both salon and shop so you can check out the trendy clothes and jewelry after pampering in the salon.  If you are looking for some decorating ideas and want to pick up a few unique pieces for your home, try Red Rooster for  more upscale consignment furniture.  Either way you won’t be disappointed!

Whether you are passing through or looking for a place to call home, Denver is a great town with lots of character.  You are close enough to Charlotte to enjoy all the great things the city has to offer while enjoying the quieter life on the shore of Lake Norman.
