Located in the heart of downtown Huntersville, 760 Craft Works has already proven—since opening in May 2023—to be a great addition to the local community and Huntersville’s best new brewery. Led by the father-son team of Wagner and Trey Ramsey, this brewery is dedicated to crafting high-quality beers that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palate.

Behind the name—760 Craft Works
The reason behind their name is something that may not be apparent, but it will leave you feeling like a seasoned local once you know it. Lake Norman, at full pond, is 760 feet above sea level. That’s why you’ll find “Full Pond” on their tap menu—one of their flagship brews.
There’s more to the name of some beers than you may expect. Case in point—the Bob. The town of Huntersville celebrated its 150th anniversary this year and asked 760 Craft Works to make a beer to honor the celebration. Say less. The brewery building was originally the Robert Blythe Building (previously police headquarters), so “the Bob” was named as a nod to the history of the building and honoring the town.
On menu and tap
There are always 12 beers on tap, crafted by 760 themselves. Which 12? Hefeweizens, IPAs, amber ales, and sours are currently on the menu, but it depends. Head brewers Wagner and Trey, along with assistant brewer Brittany, have come up with 30 unique recipes so far. When a keg kicks, they don’t always replace it with the same beer. Instead, they bring something new of theirs to the menu, keeping things fresh and the rest of us guessing.
While the new options are exciting, some locals have fallen in love and crave certain beers not on the menu anymore—like the Bob. You heard it here first—760 Craft Works has a deal in the works to can some of their most popular flagship beers. While no dates are promised, they hope to have canned options for sale by the end of 2023.
They also keep a selection of small-scale production wine, cider, and hard seltzer on the menu.
Family-friendly Lake Norman brewery with non-alcoholic options
This is where 760 Craft works really gets it right. While many Lake Norman breweries keep things fun and low-key, they don’t address the family vibe that Lake Norman really demands from them. Many breweries have picnic tables and lawn games to keep the whole family entertained, but few have options to drink other than water. Thankfully, 760 is paving the way for a better experience that is trending—non-alcoholic bar options.
They pride themselves in offering a wide variety of non-alcoholic options, including sparkling lemonade and limeade, kombucha, craft sodas, and non-alcoholic beer. Read more below on how they support small businesses like themselves.
Comfy, chic vibes at 760 Craft Works
Unlike other breweries in the area that are reminiscent of industrial spaces, 760 offers a timeless comfy, chic vibes that invite you in and make you want to stay a while. From comfortable seating and tables inside to picnic tables outside with shades and misting fans, there’s plenty of space to spread out.
It’s a great place for big groups, but then again not too big for one person to feel comfortable sitting at the bar. So go ahead and schedule your midday meetings with your friends, plan to work remotely, or bring the kids over after they’ve played at Discovery Place Kids—it’s time to go to 760!
760 Craft Works supports small businesses
Being a small business themselves, they’re passionate about supporting other small-scale production businesses, including wineries and many of their non-alcoholic offerings—like non-alcoholic beer from Untitled Art or kombucha made locally in Concord, NC from Borinquen Kombucha.
They also participate in Maker’s Market CLT every first Saturday of the month. This market supports their local businesses by showcasing Charlotte’s most talented makers, creators, and artisans.

They’ve got a lively schedule throughout the week—only being closed on Mondays. Here’s what they generally have, but be sure to check their website for any pop-up events that they may be having. Sundays tend to be a lower-key day, allowing for local artisans—like chocolatiers—to showcase their craft. Mmm, chocolate and beer, anyone?
