D9 Brewing Company (11138-C Treynorth Dr, Cornelius)

D9 Brewing Company currently has two locations in Lake Norman and Uptown Charlotte. They aim to create the highest quality and original ales for the Lake Norman area. D9 offers an expansive outdoor seating area and produces over 310,000 gallons of beer annually. They currently offer in house purchases and seating. They are also offering online ordering for pickup and local delivery. The brewery brings in food trucks regularly and offers their space for birthdays, business gatherings, or community events! Some crowd favorites from D9 include Whiskers, a blond sour ale and Brown Sugar Brown Cow, a mocha brown ale. Visit D9 with family or friends and try out some of their original craft beer!

Eleven Lakes Brewing (10228 Bailey Rd, Suite 201, Cornelius) 

Eleven Lakes Brewing is named after the eleven major lakes that form along the Catawba River. Its mission is to provide exceptional craft beer and opportunities to bring people together. Eleven Lakes opened in 2017 and is located in Hyde Storage Park. The brewery offers nightly specials on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. It has a great selection of craft beers, including “Apricot Habanero” and “Pandemic Porter”. You’re sure to find a craft beer that suits you! They are currently offering taproom and outdoor seating.

Lost Worlds Brewing (19700-D One Norman Blvd, Cornelius)

You’ll be sure to love Lost Worlds and their unique mission behind the brewery and meeting spot! The brewery is an ode to adventure-seekers of the past. Lost Worlds is a basecamp to craft your next adventure while enjoying their handcrafted beer. Their 150-seat biergarten is the perfect spot to meet up with friends after a long week! It also frequently brings in food trucks and encourages guests to bring their dogs. Enjoy a cool weekend night outside with great local food and beer! Some favorites include their Trek Porter and Euchre Golden Ale.

Primal Brewery (16432 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville)

Primal Brewery, centered around bringing people together, has two locations in Huntersville and Belmont, NC. The brewery offers tours of their brewery for guests to get a behind-the-scenes experience. Their beer garden offers outdoor seating with live music, fire pits, and outdoor games. Additionally, it’s a great place to try local food trucks that are frequently brought into the space throughout the week. Some favorites include their POJO India Pale Ale, Seasonal Pumpkin Ale (a crowd favorite for the fall season), or their MOHK + Hazelnut Stout.

Davidson Wine Company (121 Depot St, Davidson)

Davidson Wine Company, although not solely a brewery, offers both wine and beer. They offer a fantastic bistro menu of flatbreads, salads, and charcuterie boards. It’s a great spot to check out this fall! Davidson Wine Co. was started to bring affordable and locally made wine options to the town of Davidson and the Lake Norman area. Some favorites include their rotating flights of wine – with four 3 oz. pours of highlighted wines of the day and their bistro options. Take an afternoon to sit on their back patio or bar area with friends and try some local wine or beers on tap! Davidson Wine Co. is currently taking only reservations on the weekend to ensure social distancing practices.
